What wonderful sandals! I suffer from flat feet and with one exception never put on shoes without first inserting the custom-made orthotics I use to lessen the pain of walking. The exception is Okabashi sandals, which support my feet in comfort without orthotics. I discovered these cheap, tough sandals by accident 10 years ago, and have been wearing them around the house ever since. I must have gone through a dozen pairs of Okabashi Torinos. I am on my third pair of these flip flops--they are the best! I use them as house shoes because my feet always get sore walking on our hard wood floors. I have flat feet so the arch support does wonders! Who would think a flip flop could support your foot? Buy them!

These are the greatest flip flops ever! I have high arches and these provide the support my feet and back need! I wear them everywhere (shopping, on the boat, on rainy days, in the mud) - they clean up wonderfully and never break! What an investment - they last forever! I love these flip flops! When I developed a painful foot problem caused by weak arches my doctor told me to stop wearing flip flops (too spongy & no support.) The healing shoe! I have Plantar Fasciitis, and my son purchased your flip flops and said I should try them. He also said they are made in the USA unlike [other shoes]. I live in Indiana, but I wear my Classic Flip-Flops every day (indoors, of course)!! They are the only shoes I have found that keep me plantar fasciitis pain free. When they become dirty and smelly, I just toss them in the washer and they come out looking and smelling brand new!!! I love that!

I happened upon these shoes at an end-of-the-season clearance in a store. I don't usually wear flip-flops because I have very bad bunions, and I don't like my feet on display. I also have other foot issues that require orthotics, which I find so uncomfortable. These sandals are amazing. I can wear them all day and night without pain and without orthotics. It is worth the embarrassment of displaying the ugly bunions. I live in these sandals all summer. They are simply amazing!!!

I have hammer toes and wear orthotics. I have trouble finding shoes that the orthotics fit into and cannot wear any of those cute sandals on the market. The Okabashi cross strap is the only shoe I can wear without the orthotics and my feet do not hurt. I wear them all the time now in the house and yard. Better than orthotics... I have neurological nerve damage to my feet. I started wearing Okabashi sandals over 25 years ago. I wear year round - inside and outside. I keep a pair at work, in my car, and at home. They are only relief I have from foot pain.

I LIVE in these shoes. When it is cold I put on socks. When it is hot they keep me cool. Dirty? I throw them in the washing machine with the towels. I had surgery on my feet about 15 years ago and these are the only shoes I can wear that do not hurt my feet. I am on my feet all the time. I have even done a treadmill test in them, since I cannot wear tennis shoes!!>

I had worn various Okabashi sandals for years - great for a rainy day, around the house, etc. The flip flops came in handy after I had surgery to fuse my ankle. After the cast came off, the only footwear to fit my still swollen foot and with the air cast was the flip flops. I felt secure as the contoured foot pad kept them from slipping.

I wear them all year long as my slippers/sandals and yes, even with socks in the winter. My alternative to going barefoot after ankle surgery years ago - comfortable, supportive, therapeutic - cant go anywhere without them - can even wear them at the pool or public showers when camping. Relief for my poor feet! I have been plagued with flat, pronated feet. I do own some very expensive orthopedic shoes. However, the first thing that comes off when I hit the front door is those tie shoes, and I put on the cross straps. I wear them as bedroom slippers and outside shoes. I have even taken them on cruises. Great to wear to airports and light-weight to put in luggage or carry-ons. Work great as shower shoes. The Okabashi people stand behind their shoes.

My aching feet! For years, my feet hurt with every step I made. I accidently stumbled on the Okabashi shoes while searching on-line for something I could wear. I have Metatarsalgia in both feet. They even hurt when I try to go barefoot. I have bought many expensive, orthopedic shoes and dozens of inserts. None of them give me the total comfort I feel with Okabashi! Shoe with benefits! I love Okabashi flip flops, primarily because they never get the "stinky feet" smell of other sandals or flip flops. These particular shoes have the little heel in the back which I firmly believe has the benefit of toning my legs. I wear them as my "indoor shoes" around the house in the summer, but think I now need a pair for outdoors!
